Who writes our guides
Guides are published by the KeptLink team, the people who build the KeptLink QR code generator. We use AI writing tools to help draft and edit, and a person on our team reviews and approves every guide before it's published. The byline on each guide is the team, not an individual.
How we check facts
- Against the product. Anything a guide says about KeptLink matches how the generator actually works today. We don't describe features we don't offer yet, such as dynamic codes, as if they were available.
- Against real prints. Our advice on sizes and scanning is based on codes we've printed and scanned with real phones, and on our generator's own scan check.
- Against official sources. Where a guide relies on someone else's rules, such as how a Google or phone feature works, we check the official documentation and link to it.
- No made-up numbers. We don't publish invented statistics, reviews, testimonials or customer stories.
Independence
KeptLink makes a QR code generator, and our guides show how to do things with it where that helps. We don't accept payment to mention other products, and our guides don't contain paid or affiliate links.
Dates and updates
Each guide shows the date it was published. When we change a guide's facts or advice in a meaningful way, we add an "Updated" date. We don't change dates for small edits like typo fixes.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake or something out of date, email hello@keptlink.com with the page address and what's wrong. We'll check it, fix confirmed errors, and update the guide's date when the fix is substantive.
