A printed QR code can't be reprinted cheaply. When you put a KeptLink code on packaging, a menu or a sign, you're trusting it to keep working. This is what we promise.
Your codes keep working, even if you stop paying
Codes created on a paid plan, including the founders' lifetime deal, keep redirecting to their last destination after you cancel. The only exceptions are codes blocked for safety or under our Acceptable Use Policy, and a workspace suspended because of a chargeback (see our Refund Policy). Keeping a code alive costs us very little, which is why we can make this promise.
Free trial codes keep working too
When a free trial ends without a purchase, its first 3 dynamic codes (the oldest first) keep redirecting to their last destination, with the same exceptions. To edit them or see their scans, choose a plan.
If KeptLink ever closes
- 12 months' notice: we'll email every workspace owner at least 12 months before KeptLink stops serving links.
- A full export: during that time you can export all your links, with their short codes and destinations, so you can move them elsewhere.
- Your own domain stays yours: codes on a custom domain can be pointed at another service by changing your domain's DNS record, so they can keep working without us.
Your data is always yours
You can export your links as a CSV file from the dashboard at any time, on every plan. We keep weekly backups of our databases so that a technical failure doesn't lose your codes.
