People trust a QR code or short link before they can see where it goes. This policy keeps that trust. It applies to every KeptLink short link and dynamic QR code, and is part of our Terms of Service.
Don't use KeptLink to link to or support
- phishing, credential theft, fake login or payment pages, or impersonation of another person, brand or organization
- malware, unwanted software, or deceptive downloads
- scams, fraud, fake giveaways or investment schemes
- spam: links sent in unsolicited bulk messages
- illegal content or goods, or content that sexually exploits children
- harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy
- hiding where a link goes in order to get around another service's safety checks, or chaining shorteners to disguise a destination
Also don't try to disrupt KeptLink, get around its limits or safety checks, or access other people's workspaces.
How we keep links safe
- We check destinations with Google Web Risk when a link is created or changed, and again from time to time. A link whose destination is suspected to be unsafe is blocked and shows visitors a warning page instead.
- We also block links on our own blocklist and links we find, or are told about, that break this policy. Blocking reaches visitors within a minute or two.
- Repeatedly creating unsafe links can temporarily stop a workspace from creating new ones. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to the workspace or account being suspended, which pauses its links.
- Blocking for safety applies to every link, including codes created on a paid plan that otherwise keep working after cancelling.

If a KeptLink link or QR code sent you somewhere harmful, please report it with our abuse report form. You don't need an account. We review reports and act on harmful links as quickly as we can. For anything else, email hello@keptlink.com.

Email hello@keptlink.com with the short link and why you think it's safe. We'll review it and unblock it if it was a mistake.
